Aaliyah ---Gone But Not Forgotten 1/16/ 1979 – 8/25/2001

Aaliyah was one of those artists that I really could relate to and I love her music to this day. I still have her albums in heavy rotation on my Ipod and I remember the day I heard the news of her death. It was so surreal and unexpected for such a beautiful, young successful woman's life to be cut short right in her prime. Aaliyah was not only a beautiful girl but a beautiful spirit and she may be gone but not forgotten.
