Bonafide, born Mychal Nicholas Scott is one of the many new faces on the rise of the new hip-hop scene in the South. He hails from Memphis, TN and at 21 years of age, he demands respect in the city of Memphis and the entire southern region. “I’ve seen both sides of the fence homie… and best believe neither side is greener where I come from,” says Bonafide. He and his artist Nick “Get It On” Jones are the driving forces behind the street movement DOUBLE UP MUSIC GROUP and look to do huge and unprecedented things in 2009 and the years to follow.
