3RD ANNUAL ADCOLOR® AWARDS HOSTED BY CNN’S SOLEDAD O’BRIEN


“The ANA is delighted to host the Third Annual ADCOLOR® Awards at our 2009 Multicultural Marketing and Diversity Conference,” said Bob Liodice, President & CEO of Association of National Advertisers. “Our members value the contributions that ethnically diverse professionals make to marketing campaigns, and we are looking forward to honoring these superbly talented individuals and industry-leading companies this Fall.” The ADCOLOR® Awards is an initiative launched by the ADCOLOR® Industry Coalition which was formed in 2005. The collective includes: the Ad Club of New York, Association of National Advertisers, American Association of Advertising Agencies, American Advertising Federation, Arnold Worldwide, and the Omnicom Group.

The ADCOLOR® Awards honors diverse and talented individuals in the marketing, advertising and media industries’. The event has drawn close to 1000 attendees and has enjoyed broad financial support from the marketing, advertising and media communities. So far this awards show has honored 35 individuals and 2 companies in six specific categories – Rising Star, Change Agent, Innovator, Legend, All-Star and MVP (Most Valuable Partnership). Some of the past “All-Star Honorees” include Russell Simmons of RUSH World Synergies and Earvin “Magic” Johnson. Jr. of Magic Johnson Enterprises.

This event will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix and it will be hosted by award-winning CNN reporter Soledad O’Brien.
